Mark will increase in independence to make choices and purchases in the community using a variety of communication methods including AAC device, picture/symbol exchange, or gesture.
Mark will use 3 or more (gestures, pictures, symbol exchange, AAC device to make express his wants and needs (ex.I want more I need to use the bathroom, I am hungry, I am tired) during school.
Mark will increase his functional communication by indicating his wants and needs through (gestures, pictures, symbol exchange, AAC device)while interacting with a variety of familiar adults and peers,
Ky'Ree will correctly respond to yes/no questions using vocalization, sign, head nods, or picture exchange across the school setting with 80% accuracy over 4/5 as measured by SLP.
Ky'Ree will respond by making a choice on a AAC device, or by pointing giving an item when directed given no gestural cue with 70% accuracy over 4/5 consecutive opportunities.
Ky'Ree will follow instructions improve functional communication skills by responding to specific questions and commands with vocalization and/or nonverbal responses.
Ky'Ree will actively participate in an organized group activity APE or game by taking-turns, following directions, and waiting on his turn 4/5 opportunities at 80%.
Ky'Ree will increase his leisure and recreation skills by actively participating in an organized group activity (turn-taking, following directions, waiting) for 30 minutes 4/5 opportunities at 80%.
Ky'Ree will increase his vocational skills by assembling a 4 step work job accurately from left to right with 80% accuracy 4/5.
Ky'Ree will maintain low levels inappropriate behaviors grabbing clothes and pulling hair by keeping his hands down upon request or by following a visual cue card hands down picture 2 episodes per month.
