Mount Pleasant Schools: RTI: The Role of the Teacher as Classroom First-Responder

On Monday, 9 March 2015, Jim Wright presented an RTI workshop for elementary staff at the Mount Pleasant (NY) Central School District. Here are resources from that conference day:

Sebastian kept his hands, feet and any other body part to himself.

The student completed his work with little to no redirection.

The student was successful at utilizing his strategy list to avoid classroom disruption.

The student remained focused on the lesson.

The student turned in point sheet / homework from previous day.

The student was respectful of students and staff.

The student participated appropriately.

I will keep my hands and feet to myself.

I will stay on task.-stay in my work area-complete my work
