Locust Valley UFSD: Jim Wright's RTI/MTSS Workshops


On March 5-8, Jim Wright presented a series of half-day workshops for elementary teachers from the Locust Valley Central School District on the topic The Teacher as ‘First Responder’: Building the Classroom Intervention Toolkit. Here are resources from that training:
- Accommodations Finder. Use this free online app to create 'accommodation' plans for individual students or an entire class.

- Tier 2: Small-Group Intervention Plan (Interactive). This PDF document allows the user to enter a multi-week Tier 2 intervention plan for a small group of up to 7 students. Check out this example of the form filled out for a group based repeated-reading intervention.
