On 13 Feb 2020, Jim Wright presented the workshop High School RTI/MTSS for Academics: Supporting the Difficult-to-Teach Student for members of the PJ High School RTI/MTSS Leadership Team. Here are resources shared at that training:

- Power of Checklists. This handout describes how to teach behaviors through teacher-made checklists.
- Self-Check Behavior Checklist Maker. This app allows teachers to create customized checklists to describe any behavior.

- Behavior Management: 38 Classroom Ideas to Help Students to Make BetterBehavioral Choices
- Read-Ask-Paraphrase. The student locates main idea and supporting details for each paragraph and summarizes them on a graphic organizer.
RAP Interactive Form - Reading Comprehension: Read Actively. The student pauses after each paragraph, recalls its content, and then checks their recall against the original passage.
- Linking Pronouns to Referents. When reading advanced texts, the student circles pronouns, writes their referents above them, and then rereads the text, inserting the referent for each pronoun.
- Ask-Read-Tell. The student creates a reading plan and sets reading goals, monitors understanding while reading, and reflects on the reading once finished.
