Syosset Schools: Jim Wright's RTI Workshop

On Th 29 August 2018, Jim Wright presented a workshop, ‘Continuum of Care’: Classroom Strategies to Support & Motivate High School Students, to staff of Syosset High School.

Student only talked with peers during expected times (group work, turn and talk etc.)

The student walked appropriately through the hallway with his class, staying in single file line, and keeping his hands and feet to himself.

Rafael will identify meanings of vocabulary words using context clues 4 out of 5 opportunities as measured by SLP.

When given a word and definition, rafael will use the word in context verbally or in writing 4 out of 5 opportunities as measured by SLP.

Rafael will demonstrate understanding of grade level vocabulary with 80% accuracy as measured by SLP.

Rafael will increase Math calculation ability by solving multi-step equations with 80% accuracy.

Rafael will increase written expression skills in all academic areas with 80% accuracy.

Rafael will increase his reading skills in all academic subjects with 90% accuracy.
