Here are interactive tools that can help schools with Tier 1 interventions and related resources:
The Academic Survival Skills Checklist Maker [7] allows teachers, students, and parents to assemble 'how to' checklists to train students in essential academic-support skills. These checklists are a great way to promote student independence and accountability! Review the manual [8] or download suggestions [9] for using Academic Survival Skills Checklists in your classroom.
The Intervention Planner for Behavior [10] provides brief classroom ideas that teachers can browse to put together custom intervention plans for specific students or groups. And check out the user manual [11]to get a quick introduction to this resource.
The Accommodations Finder [12] offers teachers more than 60 ideas to promote the success of students in general education settings by accommodating their different classroom needs. For a quick start in using this application, review the user manual [13].
The Jackpot Reward Finder [14] is a collection of ideas for classroom rewards for both elementary and secondary levels. Teachers can put together their own individualized menus of rewards and even create reinforcer/reward surveys to review with students. The user manual [15] gives a fast introduction to using this application.
Behavior Report Card Maker [16]. This application allows the user to create and print off a customized Behavior Report Card (rating scale) to monitor student behaviors.
