The student can stay focused on the teacher or task in the classroom.

The student can follow several directions at a time. For example, put away your math, get your snack and get out your S.S. book and log.

The student can remember steps in a process, such as math word problems or writing a paragraph.

The student can start their work without any reminders from the teacher.

The student can get started on an assignment right away during an in-class work time.

The student is able to complete 2 or more assignments in a row.

The student began working on in-class assignments/projects without extra directions from the teacher.

The student is aware what their grades are and understands how they are graded by the teacher.

The student proofreads and checks their work before handing it in.

The student completes their work carefully and hands in ONLY their best work.
