RTI Introduction: Russell Sage College

On 6 December 2011, Jim Wright presented on the topic RTI: A Model to Improve Systems of Support for Struggling Learners at the Troy campus of .Russell Sage College.

The student turned in his or her quality homework on time.

The student raised his hand before asking a question.

Brandon followed acadmeic instructions and directions to complete a task with no more that 1 reminder in 7 out of 10 trials.

Kadin remained on task during independent activities with no more than one reminder in 7 out of 10 trials.

Kadin attended to teacher during group instruction and independent activities for at least 5 minutes with in 7 out of 10 trials.

The student went to the nurse only when necessary.

Tony spoke appropriately with adults.

Morgan accepted help from staff without emotionally withdrawing or making negative comments.

Morgan controlled her emotions and did not become upset, angry, or run away when faced with challenging or difficult situations.
