RTI for Academics: 3-Day Summer Academy

On 11-13 August 2015, Jim Wright returned to South Country Schools for a 3-day follow-up training on RTI for academics. Here are resources shared at that training:

Keep hands to herself and refrain from touching others or things in the classroom without permission

Use equipment and materials appropriately as directed.

Follow teacher’s directions and/or respond verbally on first request

Seek assistance appropriately and refrain from inappropriate attention getting behaviors

Mayra will verbally or in writing provide to the teacher the location answer to a question when given written materials as measured by the content teacher.

Mayra will identify and use context clues when given a teacher-selected reading passage to decode and define an unknown word as graded by the IRR teacher.

Mayra will decode unknown words in isolation, context when given a written passage with decoding produced either orally or silently presentation when requested by the LA teacher.
