- methods for conducting school-wide math and writing screenings.
- examples of math and writing interventions at Tiers 1, 2, and 3.
- guidance to schools on how to locate additional appropriate intervention ideas and programs.
- advice on how to set specific student performance goals in math and writing, as well as methods of progress-monitoring.
- a review of intervention case studies for individual students that illustrate how the RTI process actually works for math and writing issues.
Participants will also be provided with strategies for helping general-education teachers to use math and writing intervention ideas effectively in the classroom.
